Although Samuel Curtis Estates is one of Oakville’s lesser known neighbourhoods, it a fantastic opportunity to live close to the lake in a generous sized two storey home (average approximately 2500 square feet). Built in the 1980’s, this quiet enclave sits just north of Lake Ontario and borders Burlington to the west and popular
Lakeshore Woods to the east.
There are many parks and trails nearby including South Shell Waterfront Park and Shell Park to the east which in addition to its many sporting fields, has a skateboard park and leash free dog zone. Alternatively, the incredible Bronte Provincial Park is nearby offering camping, an awesome playbarn, huge outdoor pool and miles of beautiful hiking trails. Samuel Curtis Estates is also conveniently located within a short drive or a good walk of trendy Bronte Village and its stores, restaurants and harbour.
From a commuting perspective, Samuel Curtis Estates has great QEW access up Burloak Drive and is well situated to the Bronte GO Station utilizing the Rebecca Street bridge. The recent expansion to include a Speers Road platform entrance has made the morning park that much more convenient. The Burloak Shopping Centre is also nearby, home to many stores and restaurants including Home Depot, Longos and Cineplex Movie Theatres.
