This mature neighbourhood was primarily developed between 1960 and 1985 and consists of bungalows, side splits and two storeys, generally on 50 to 100 foot frontage lots. Ford Drive is the most affordable of the South East Oakville neighbourhoods and is an excellent place to invest your real estate dollars.

The area offers quiet streets, mature parks, excellent schools (including OakvilleTrafalgar High School) and easy access to beautiful Downtown Oakville. In general, it is experiencing a transition with significant investment in renovations, additions and custom homes. There is variance however in lot values within the neighbourhood dependent on frontage and location with the southwest sector of the Ford district generally demanding a premium.

From a commuting perspective, Ford offers the best access to Toronto via the QEW highway, Oakville GO Station and the very accessible Clarkson GO Station.  Other convenient features include shopping at Maple Grove Village Mall, close  proximity to many of the town’s ice rinks, several lakefront parks and trails including Oakville’s gorgeous Gairloch Gardens.
